In Salem, we’re honored to be part of the holiday celebration at the newly renovated .

Chris Strunk, harvest manager, and Matthew Fiorito, area manager, scouted our Snow Peak tree farm to supply more than a dozen Christmas trees that are now brightening spaces outside the House and Senate chambers and throughout the Capitol Galleria.

When the original supplier was unable to provide a “Grand Tree” for the Capitol Rotunda, our Mid-Coast team stepped up on short notice, sourcing an impressive 40-foot noble fir. Foresters Don Irons and Andrea Kolarova found the tree and coordinated transportation from Falls City to Salem, ensuring the Capitol’s festivities remained bright and memorable.

“It was a bit tricky to find the perfect tree of this size on a day’s notice since we aren’t specifically growing Christmas trees,” Andrea says. “We got lucky with this one. It was growing without neighbors, so it has nice, full volume. It’s a beautiful tree that will be the perfect backdrop for this year’s holiday performances.”
